After a near 30 year absence from downtown Washington, the National Road Festival has returned with 2 days of exciting events for the whole family. The events will take place in 9 different locations throughout town on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from 10am – 5pm (note: the antiques market will open at 9am). Main Street Pavillion – Food and Modern Craft Vendors The David Bradford House – 18th Century Heritage Demonstrators, Children’s Activities, and Guided House tours The Washington Winery – Sangria Slushies and Grilling The Julius LeMoyne House – National Road Antiques Market -featuring some of the region’s best antiques dealers The Francis LeMoyne House – Self-Guided House Tours Madeleiene’s Garden at the Francis LeMoyne House – 18th Century Artisans and Vendors Washington County History and Landmarks – Walking Architectural Tours of structures along the National Road in Downtown Washington Pennsylvania Trolley Museum – Architectural Tours of the Washington County Courthouse and a display entitled Trolleys on the National Road Washington County Frontier History Center – 18th and 19th Century Reenactors including interpreters of French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, and Civil War soldiers
